Dine in Notes

LARGE PARTIES: At this time the largest party we can take is a group of six. For parties larger than four, please call the restaurant directly to make a reservation. We will need to authorize a credit card for groups of 5 & 6 (this doesn't include families with children). There is a cancellation fee of $10/head for groups of 5 & 6 if group no-shows or cancels after 2 p.m. the day of the reservation. This is due to our limited seating.

RESERVATIONS: We strongly encourage making a reservation. Reservation slots are for 90 min. - when we are able, we are happy to extend that slot.

We are currently seating both our patio, and our indoor dining room. Both areas have limited seating, and each table has been designated ample space.

"Server-less" Service

We are practicing "server-less" service to keep our staff and guests as safe as possible. This means all service (ordering and payment) happens inside, where everyone is required to wear a mask.

Once guests sit down, they are allowed to remove their masks, however if at any time a restaurant employee approaches your table, we ask that all guests wear a mask. Masks are also required at any point a guest leaves their table.

We ask that one group enters our building at a time to maintain distance between groups.

Our #1 priority right now is keeping everyone healthy, and we are taking every precaution to keep it that way, so we may remain open.

PRECAUTIONS

Masks

Our staff will be wearing masks at all times. We know the science checks out by now, and take mask wearing very serious.

Guests are required to wear masks at any point away from their table, or when interacting with staff. We care deeply about our customers safety and the safety of our staff.

Sanitation

Our staff will be sanitizing all touched surfaces every 30 minutes. This includes the restrooms, door handles, counters, digital ordering devices, and all commonly touched surfaces.

Tables & chairs are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each group.

Hand sanitizer is available for guests use at all entrances and near the restrooms.

Distance

All tables are spaced out at least 6 feet, some even more so! Our hope is that our customers feel like they have their own space to relax and enjoy their dining experience in.

We do ask only one group enters our front door at a time, to also provide space.

PRECAUTIONS Cont.

Dividers

We are now seating our indoor dining room. Our patio seating is available as well.

We are seating 25% of our indoor dining room, for a total of eight tables available. Each table will have ample space to themselves.

Dividers are in  place between each table for extra security and privacy.

Filters & air circulation

Air movement  and clean air helps protect us all from COVID-19. We have placed HEPA filters throughout the space to clean the air. HEPA filters have been shown to help trap COVID-19.

At Flat & Point we are lucky enough to have a 20 foot hood over our wood-fired equipment. This hood is designed to suck 50,000 cubic feet of air / hour, and bring in fresh air from outside to counter balance air flow. We will be keeping the hood on during dinner service to help with air circulation.

Our promise to you...

Our team of five here at Flat & Point, promise our guests the following:

  • If any member of our team feels ill they will stay home and get a COVID-19 test if necessary

  • All team members will be temperature checked daily at the start of their shift

  • All team members are trained to sanitize all surfaces, and have been certified as a ServSafe food handler

  • When team members enter our building, this states the following: That you are in good standing health, you have not been in contact with someone that has had COVID-19 in the last two weeks, you have not traveled to banned states, and you aren't experienced symptoms related to COVID-19.

How things work around here (for now)…

Welcome to Flat & Point! Thank you for being here. 2020 has set new rules, we are here to follow them.

This new way of doing things is to minimize contact for the safety of our customers & our staff. Our #1 priority right now is keeping everyone healthy, and we are taking every precaution to keep it that way, so we may remain open.

At this time, we are only seating our patio.
